Helpful Computer Keyboard Shortcuts For New Users

 Enjoy these handy keyboard shortcuts that will make your computing quicker and easier.

Ctrl + C  -   Copy shortcut-
              Highlight a section of text (could be a website address, phone number, or any group of text.) Once it is highlighted hold down the ctrl key and then press the C key.

Ctrl + V -    Paste shortcut-
          click your mouse in the area where you would like to paste the text that you have last copied.  Then  hold down the ctrl key and  press the V key. 

Ctrl + Z -    Undo Shortcut-
          This key combination will undo the last change made.  You can press this multiple times to undo many changes.

Ctrl + S -    Save shortcut-
          pressing ctrl and S will save your work in almost any program.

Ctrl + P -    Print Preview Shortcut-
          Pressing these keys will bring up a print preview screen.  From here you can print from your current   document quickly and easily.




Internet explorer shortcuts
Ctrl +          Zoom in by holding ctrl and pressing the + key

Ctrl -           Zoom out by holding ctrl and pressing the - key

F5               Pressing the F5 key will reload the current web page

Ctrl + D      Add current site to favorites

Ctrl + T       Opens a new tab

Ctrl + Tab    cycles through the open tabs
